Hair Donations Up During Pandemic

WGME-13 reported that more Mainers are donating their hair during the pandemic in a piece that aired April 29.
The Portland CBS station talked with Hair Matters founder Debby Porter for their story. “She says people are donating more hair more frequently as a way to turn their pandemic isolation into something that makes a difference,” WGME reported.
“I heard from a young lady who donated her hair, I think she was probably 10, and she said ‘There’s not much I can do, but this I can. This I can do to help,'” Debby said.
