Honoring our Hat Heroes
One stitch at a time, fiber artists Sandi Lavoie and Marilyn Sinskie painstakingly turn yarn into works of art. The one-of-a-kind hats they create are then generously donated to Hair Matters.
For the last four years, Sandi and Marilyn have donated dozens and dozens of hats that not only support the critical services Hair Matters provides but also make our clients feel beautiful, warm, and protected.
Sandi belongs to a knitting and crocheting group. Each member commits to donating some of their work to a cherished nonprofit. Sandi has incredible talent, making hats, scarves, headbands, and ear warmers in every color and style imaginable.
Marilyn is also a gifted fiber artist. During the pandemic, she put her time and talents together to contribute yet another round of gorgeous handmade hats.
We are so grateful to Sandi and Marilyn, both of whom have generously gifted their time, skills, and finances to provide us with these hats.
They have asked us to give them to anyone of our Hair Matters clients who would like one or two at no cost. They’ve also agreed that anyone may purchase them starting at $25 with all proceeds to benefit Hair Matters.
